First year of T-ball!

As many of you know, this was Caleb's first year playing T-ball. After 6 weeks of practice 2 times a week followed by another 6 weeks of games 2 times a week, Mom and Dad are ready to be home on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Caleb played on the Davis Family Dentistry team (notice all his missing teeth in some pictures!). GO BICUSPIDS! Just kidding. That wasn't their team name. The ages of his teammates are 5-7.

Caleb was a stand out hitter! The first night of practice the coaches asked him at least 3 times if he had ever played ball before. By the time we got to the end of the season the other coaches were telling their team to be ready for a big hit or that the out field needed to be ready for the ball! Caleb was always excited because if you hit the ball into the out field you get to take 2 bases. More times then not, he got to take 2 bases.

Of course John, the kids and I make lots of noise and cheer on Caleb and his team mates. The team has learned that John will give them a hard time about anything. There is one girl on the team that wears CRAZY socks to every game. I am talking neon stripes, Zebra print, hot pink and bright yellow, orange and blue and any other crazy combination you can think of. John has named her Socks and you can tell she really likes when John picks on her.

Caleb is looking forward to playing "real" baseball next year! He said I can't wait to play innings and keep score.

Ready to watch big brother play some ball!!!

Hanging out in the shade!
